Alex Cejka is 11 under par but paired in the final group with Tiger Woods today who starts the day at 6 under. Tiger has been inconsistent this week and hasn't benefitted at times due to some loose driving, approach shots and putting. Yet here he is tied for second and hasn't played his best. Cejka showed looseness yesterday shooting a 72 following a 66 and 67 in rounds 1 and 2 while Tiger shot 70. Will the pressure get to Alex today? Will Tiger play his best round? Any way you look at it, this should be great viewing of the Tour Players Championship (sometimes referred to as the 5th major) on NBC starting at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

Cejka's lead is gone after 5 holes. He is +4 while Tiger is +2. Ben Crane now leads alone at -8. Tiger is 4 back with many others in between and in contention. This should be a wild day.

Tiger with a birdie!!!

[h=2]Hole 5 – Par 5[/h]Not sure if he tried to cut the corner a bit or just missed right, regardless he’s in the right rough and has to just pitch out to advance up the fairway. Tiger’s got 103 yards to the pin, perched on the front-left of the green and guarded by water. He throws this one real high and spins it back to five feet above the hole. That’s how you play golf, boys and girls. Textbook. Tiger drops the birdie putt to get back to even.
TIGER ON THE DAY: Even thru 5 (3 over overall)
